Knitting Firsts

This cute little pumpkin was a couple of firsts for me.  It was the first time that I knit in the round using a circular needle, and it was also the first time that I felted anything!  I had knit in the round before (when I knitted blue bear), but I used double pointed needles.  This time I wanted to try out my new set of circular needles.  It was a little hard to get used to, I still think that I prefer using double pointed needles whenever I can.  The felting was also an interesting process, and hopefully I can perfect it some day!  The pattern I used is called Harvest Pumpkin, and it was designed by Marie Mayhew.
