This little green wash cloth was my very first knitting project! About six months ago, I traveled to Omaha to visit some friends. My friend Louise worked in this adorable yarn shop, and was herself an accomplished knitter. I decided that it was time I learned this new craft. Louise, along with my sister-in-law Theresa, set out to teach me how to knit. I took to it right away, and the result was this cute cotton wash cloth! With the help of books and the Internet, I've been able to teach myself some new techniques. I've also had a lot of guidance from Theresa. It's amazing what you're able to create using a strand of yarn!
