It was an absolutely beautiful day in Minnesota today. We didn't want to waste it, so we packed up a little lunch and headed to a nearby park. This park contains 2,000 acres and several lakes. After studying an online map, we picked an area and went for it.
We located a picnic table in the shade and sat down for a relaxing lunch. Finn just sat in his stroller and quietly observed.
After lunch, we decided to go for a little hike. With over 14 miles of hiking trails, we carefully selected a pretty short route around the nearby lake.
Finn seemed to enjoy himself.
After our hike, we took a rest near the lake.
We weren't there to people watch, but we did spot this guy carrying saran wrap and duct tape. Not the two things I would immediately think to take with me to the beach. Unless you're Dexter.
I wish we could have days like this every weekend!
